Day 11

A Quote which we should all learn for our entire life.
if you are stronger then forgive........

Following are the lessons which we should never forget for our entire life :
  1. Learn to say "NO".
  2. Never compromise with your character.
  3. Its good to be limitless but drawing a line of limits is essentials in some areas of your life.
  4. Although the party was organised by Ankit and Mohit but Mohit didn't get that attention and even then he had maintained his outstanding behaviour and never said that the party was organised by us. So, Credit ke bhuke mat raho... Salute to Mr. Mohit.
  5. Never hold grudges for anyone.
Session 1 with CA. Jagjeet Singh (jagjeetca2@gmail.com)

CA Jagjeet Singh sir told us about the general points of management which were not meant for the companies only but for the day to day life also. Following are the points which we should consider and learn from them :

  1. Have a focus like arjun.
  2. If you are able to digest complements and comments then you are a great manager.
  3. If you are a teacher and you don't know the answer then take an oath that you will work on that question but for that time ask the same question with other students to get an idea.
  4. Work on all soft skills and not on only one.
  5. Always there is some scope of learning.
  6. Never compromise with ethics.
  7. Always have a vision, mission, goal, objectives.
  8. If you want to give 100% then do the same i.e. planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.
  9. Never fix limits for what is good.
  10. Never make excuses. Excuses are the nails used to build the house of failure.
  11. Improve your convincing power.
  12. Sometimes blind faith on someone is good provided, that person is not blind.
  13. Go hard or go home.
  14. Overconfident persons are the persons having eyes but they are blind.
Two beautiful videos shared by sir to us on team work and what we can do with the given resources.

Session 2nd with CA. Nikhil Jand (nikhiljand@gmail.com)

His session was awesome and reality based session. It was like an eye opening session. We did blunders in his session, which make us realise that what are the areas where we are lacking ? He conducted mock interview and tell us about our mistakes and the ways to work on them. Following are the points which should be taken into consideration :
  1. The areas where we are lacking are : Communication, Confidence, Presentation skills, even technical knowledge, Mental agility, General awareness. We should work hard on them.
  2. Never say you worked under mid size firm. Be proud of your firm.
  3. Respect yourself.
  4. No one kicks a dead dog.
  5. Make a 20 pages C.V.
  6. If you had less exposure of work during your articleship then you can use following tips :
  • use internalaudit.icai.org
  • Nirc website presentation section.
  • Read Guidance notes issued by ICAI.
  • Do google.
  • Moneycontrol.com
  • Read magzines like : Corporate Professional Today, Business Today, Forbes.
   7. Never wait for ideal condition. Do for what you are made.

2nd Session was so designed by Nikhil Sir that everyone was thinking to have a session like this on dailyy basis.
its completely okay to goof up in dese mock interviews n learn from our mistake instead of being blank n dereby being rejected during real interviews.
