Hey all, it was a nice day as some of my friends didn't recognize me coz of my bit new look. Today i got some complements too :). The bonding between our group grew bit stronger then yesterday. Now we are more comfortable with each other and enjoying every second of our gmcs.
We laugh and enjoyed the moments like
- LASSI BILL which is yet to be pass.
- Tang bill which may be passed.
- Ice cream instance of Mr. Sahil.
Now coming to the points what we learned today ?
SESSION 1ST WITH Mr. VINAY SHARMA ABOUT INTERVIEW SKILLS
QUESTIONS/POINTS WHICH NEED TO BE KEPT IN MIND BEFORE FACING INTERVIEW
- Purpose of interview is not to match the experience and education qualifiacation.
- 5 traits :- Self Confidence( body language), Appearance, Communication, Mental Agility, Consistency
- 3 colors : Black, Navy blue and grey.
- Shoes with laces are must.
- Candidates should never cross the legs at the ankle while seating and facing the panel. That should be in running position.
- Never use personal pronouns like I or Me.
- The font size is 12
- Your palms should be place on your thighs and not on knees.
- You should be seated 2.5 feet away from the table.
- Father name is not to be mention in personal detail portion.
- Never guess any answer if you don't know about the topic asked.
- It is better to ask questions when you interview is over. like 1. what key results would you expect out of someone in this position within 6m of joining the organisation ? 2. What are the main challenges in this job ? 3. what are the factors that will enable someone to succeed in this job.
- Cover letter must accompany resume for a walk in interview.
- Date and place is need to mention on cover letter and not on resume.
- Brown color can't be worn for the formal outfit.
- A candidate should reach the venue around 15 mins before the interview and not too early.
- Tilting your head to one side is not that you are displaying aggressiveness.
- Waving your arm while speaking to panel is sign of uncertainty so better you use your palms only.
- It takes nano seconds to judge a person.
- A fresher's resume can be of one page.
- The angle of your body while facing the panel gives an indication of what is going through your mind.
- Touching or rubbing your face is a sign of unprofessional-ism.
- Never mention your passport no and like stuff on resume.
- We should never followup our result of interview with the any member of the panel.
- if the chair on which we are to be seated is placed 5 feet away, we should never lift it and bring it close to he table.
- As a candidate we should never extend our hand initiate our handshake let the panel start first.
- Walking into the room in upright and erect body posture and greeting the panel is a good sign.
- Employers never overlook spelling mistakes.
- Contact information is very important in the resume.
- Resume should be of Max 2 pages.
- The cover letter must always be left aligned.
- Don't use upper case in any form of employment related communication.
- Using symbols wherever necessary creates a good impression.
- We should consider ourselves equal to the members of the interview panel.
- We should never enquire from HR deptt about the result of the interview in 1 or 2 days. we should wait atleast for a week.
- Testimonials should not be attached to the resume.
- Avoid Spell check better if done manually.
- There is a difference in CV & Resume & Bio data.

- To establish suitability : find out what skills, client is expecting from you.
- Motivate the reader to read your C.V.
A reader wants maximum information in minimum reading time thus apply following :
- USE A-accuracy, B- brevity(brief), C-clarity.
- Every English sentence must have a verb.
- KISS - KEEP IT SIMPLE AND SHORT.
SOME GENERAL POINTS:
- All designations are objects, use names ( people will like it).(CCD, McD, FX etc.)
- winners don't do different thing, they do the things differently.
- USE YOU
- Store all your information on electronic form as well so that you can easily mail them.
- SALARY - AS PER MARKET/ WHAT CO CAN GIVE ?( FIND THROUGH SOURCES)
- DUMMY ARTICLES READ LAW OF 10000 HOURS that will work for life time at ankuryadavca.blogspot.in
- First deserve then demand.

- Every document has 4 parts a. Salutation, b. Opening , c. Body and D. Closing.
- Always mention why you are thanking you any person. like Thanking you in anticipation for prompt reply.
